Winston-Salem Rodent Control is a locally-owned rat and mouse removal company founded in 2023, operating out of 1847 Reynolda Road in West Winston-Salem. We focus on what the name says — rodent work. Not termites, not mosquitoes, not the full general-pest portfolio. Just rats, mice, and the exclusion, sanitation, and prevention services that actually resolve those infestations.
We started this business after years of watching homeowners in Ardmore, the West End, and Reynolda Park cycle through national pest-control chains that signed them up for quarterly contracts, sprayed something around the foundation, and never actually closed the entry points. Rodent control isn't a recurring spray problem. It's an exclusion problem layered with a trapping problem, and most companies in this region don't have the patience or specialization to do it right.

Our process is the same on every job, residential or commercial:
- Free inspection. We walk the property — interior, attic or crawl space, exterior perimeter, plumbing penetrations, soffit and roofline. You're welcome to walk with us. We don't quote until we know what we're looking at.
- Written quote. Itemized. What's included, what's not, what the prevention plan looks like, and what the range of likely outcomes is. No verbal estimates that change at the end.
- Execution. Species-appropriate treatment — snap-trap arrays in protected runways, tamper-resistant exterior bait stations, attic exclusion materials, foundation sealing, droppings cleanup and sanitation where needed.
- Follow-up. Most active infestations need at least one return visit to verify knockdown and reset traps. That's included on every job at no extra charge.

North Carolina structural pest control regulations apply to all chemical treatments. We operate inside those rules. Where we use rodenticide, it's deployed in compliant tamper-resistant bait stations, placed and labeled per state structural pest control board requirements. Mechanical exclusion and trapping — which makes up most of what we do — falls under standard contractor work.
